Recycled Crib to Easel chalkboard - click for a link to the tutorial
I’ve been looking for another way to display art or projects from my Ks that show their names and are easy to set-up. This looks like a quick project that would have a big impact. You could either use chalk and just make a set to re-use each year. Or make a simplified version that kids would get to keep at the end of the year … what a neat keepsake!
altoid tin- this is great for waiting rooms, car trips, etc.
Time for bed :)
Goodnight lovely people :)
I moved to Dokki 4 months ago and only about a month ago I started to hear the sound of the Cairo University clock tower at the top of every hour. For three months I did not realize how close I live to the university! Tonight though at 11:00 pm the sound of the clock ringing was the loudest ever. It was as if the clock was inside my apartment. I’m not sure why this happened but I think it’s because of the wind.

Waking up late is going to ruin my life.
When I was 10, I used to wake up after exactly 8 hours of sleep. Automatically. With no alarms or human intervention. Life was so simple then but as I grew older and my life began to be more and more stressful, my sleeping habits have dramatically changed. I found out about things I was not used to like insomnia, the need of sitting one or more alarms, asking friends to call you at 8 am. to wake you up, etc. I guess I started developing this habit of wake up late on some days because I was not too keen on doing whatever I had to do on these days. The problem is when you wake up at 10 am. for three days in a row, it becomes impossible to get out of bed at 7 am the following day. IMPOSSIBLE. I used to hate sleep and consider it a waste of time. I used to dream about that day in the future when science will finally find a cure for the human need for sleep. NOW, I hate to admit that I love sleep. Sleeping until noon or later became one of life’s greatest joys!! I only hate that sleep gets in the way of doing thing I love more. I am afraid oversleeping will cost me my job one day.
My new all Egyptian handmade clay mug. Finally something’s that’s not made in China.
I was on a train. All people on the train except the train staff and myself were blind women. I kept moving from a car to another listening to what those women were saying. Just regular random chats. Then my attention was caught by the conversation that three young women were having. One of them said “The guy on the train”. I knew it was me they were talking about. They of course could not notice that I was there listening to their talk. Two of them were trying to convince the third that she should go out with me. The next thing I know was her and I sitting at a restaurant. She was very beautiful. I then woke up.
